The Generation IV Nuclear Energy Research Initiative

摘要 第4代核能系统指目前正在进行概念设计和研究开发的,可望在2030年前在技术上达到成熟,在经济性和安全性上更加优越,具有显著的先进性和竞争力的可持续发展的新一代核能技术。2000年1月,美国等10个国家共同成立了第4代核能国际论坛,共同研究、开发和验证第4代核能系统。文章回顾了第4代核能研发计划的形成过程,简要介绍了第4代核能技术路线图研发目标、选定的6种反应堆概念设计以及研究发展计划的情况。 “Generation-Ⅳ” refers to the development and demonstration of one or more Generation Ⅳ nuclear energy systems that offer advantages in the areas of economics, safety and reliability, sustainability, and could be deployed commercially by 2030. To explore these opportunities, ten countries include the U.S. formed a Generation-Ⅳ International Forum (GIF), to jointly defining, research, develop and demonstrate the next generation of nuclear energy system. This paper reviewed the formation of the Generation-Ⅳ research initiative and briefly described its R&D goal, the six candidated reactor concepts chosen by the forum and the future R&D plan.
