摘要
大量测试结果和地质显现证明，在地壳浅部的岩石地层中普遍存在有高水平地应力。本文结合工程实践说明高水平地应力对岩石工程有正负两方面的意义，并基于岩石力学原理对此进行了分析。
Field observations and measurements have confirmed the existence of high horizontal insitu stresses in many geological formations around the globe. The positive and negative impacts on rock engineerings of high horizontal in-situ stresses are discussed in this paper based on the principles of rock mechanics. Some related practical cases are also given in the paper.
