摘要
“现代性”源于西方理论范畴,它有两方面的含义:一是指与社会的现代化与工业进程相关的占主流地位的价值观念和社会规范;二是指以主体性和个体为内核,以‘审美现代性’为价值立场的价值模式。而在近现代的中国,“现代性”其实只是功利理性主义的代名词。在这种强势观念与潮流中,却有少数作家仍然执着地站在“审美现代性”的立场上,试图以迥别于时代潮流的创作立场去实现文学现代性的理想。徐就是其中较有代表性的作家。徐的小说以“人性”为起点,以对人的解读和对社会的批判为动力,游离于其时主流文坛强势的功利理性主义,执著地朝向个性化和自由化,用一种难能可贵的诗性乌托邦,实践着“审美主义”的沉重探索。
“Modernity” derives from western theory and has two meanings:1. the primary values and social criterion connecting with social modernization and industrial development; 2. the value model based on the kernel of main body and individuals and on the value standpoint of “aesthetic modernity”. However, in modern China, “modernity” is actually the replacement of utility rationalism. Under this strong spirit there is still a few writers trying to distinguish themselves and to realize the idea of literature modernity by sticking to “aesthetic modernity”. Xuxu is one of them. His novels start with “humanity” , gain strength from the understanding of human and the criticism of society, liberate from the strong utility rationalism of literary world, stick to individuality and liberalization, and practice the difficulty exploration of “aestheticism” with a precious and poetic Utopia.
