A Marker of Vulnerable Plaque: Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein-A

摘要 妊娠相关蛋白-A是一种高分子量的锌结合金属蛋白酶,是易损斑块新的标志物。PAPP-A检测方便,许多研究者已经证明它在检测易损斑块方面的准确性,并且能够预测预后和指导治疗。现就其生物学特性和临床意义作简要综述。 Pregnancy associated plasma protein-A （ PAPP-A ） is high molecular weight metalloproteinase and a novel marker of vulnerable plaque. PAPP-A assay is now widely available and several authors have demonstrated its accuracy in detecting vulnerable plaque,and it can predict prognosis and guide therapy. This review introduces the biological character of PAPP-A and its clinical meaning~
