摘要
中西文化的相异之处主要体现在四个方面:东方内容上的“和谐”与西方形式上的“和谐”;西方的再现、模仿、写实与东方的表现、抒情、言志;西方的“典型论”与中国的“意境说”;西方的“美与真”的统一与中国的“美与善”的结合。
The dissimilarities between Chinese and Western cultures are mainly embodied in the following four aspects： Chinese culture lays emphasis on “content harmony” while Western culture places emphasis on “form harmony” ; Western cultttre lays particular stress on “reproduction, imitation, realistic writing or painting” while Chinese culture puts special stress on “emotional outpourings, expressionism, expression of one＇ s ambition” ; Chinese culture focuses on “artistic ambience” while Western culture emphasizes on “representation” ; Chinese culture devotes itself specially to “the unity of the beautiful and the good,”while Western culture＇ s keynote is “the unity of the beautiful and the true”.
