This paper provides a perspective on and survey of linear acceleroometer technology for use in inertial navigation and survey system. A survey of current technology of accelerometers includes perfirmance requirements and physical principles of each technologies abd technological forces that are shaping these trends. The applied fields and objects of accelerometers are analysed carefully.
