摘要
北京大学化学系成立于１９１０年，它是我国国立大学中第一所化学系，至今已有８５年的历史。创建于本世纪初叶的北京大学化学系，是中国化学学科发展的重要中心，也是高等化学教育和开展科学研究的先驱，它对中国现代化学的发展，作出了重要的供献，此文主要介绍北京大学化学系建立以来的历史发展过程。
The Department of Chemistry of Beijing University came into existence 85 years ago in 1910. It was the first Chemistry Department among the national universities in China at that time. Founded in the early Period of this century,the Department of Chemistry of Beijing University has been an important center of chemistry in China,pioneered higher chemistry education and research, played a major role and made its due contribution to the development of chemistry in contemporary China. This article gives an account of its establishemnt and history.
