摘要
怎样进行木雕创新?这是艺术家一直思索,追求的课题。木雕创新不外乎有二种方式:一种是从技术层面;艺术家着重考虑怎样来突破原有的技术,通过精雕细刻或者是大刀阔斧来征服材料的可雕极限,来折服观者。另一种是从艺术层面;艺术家着重在艺术元素上.艺术形式上作探索.让表现作品的载体——木质纹理来说话.以作品纹理的艺术性处理来振撼观众的内心。
What is wood texture? It means texture visibility in displaying the unique orderly molecules layout of each kind of wood,and representing the fracture or section or the surface fiber pattern.The visible wood texture shall be taken into consideration when the artist makes the wood carving.Any art has its own language in art expression. For example,dancing is a body language,music is a rhythm and tune language in notes,in the same way,the language of wood can be a little exaggerated to be the texture language.
