摘要
委婉言语行为在国内研究的主要局限性在于,把委婉语词和委婉言语分别从语义和语用两个角度截然分开来考察。其实,就它们产生和发展的心理基础和社会功能定向而言,两者都属委婉言语行为,都属Verschuere顺应理论关照下的"得体语言变体",即该理论的"选择———顺应"模式对委婉言语行为的动态生成更具有解释力。
The main domestic shortcoming of the current studies on speech acts of euphemisms is their definite distinction between euphemisms from semantics and periphrases from pragmatics.However,this paper suggests that both of them are speech acts of euphemisms either cognitively or socially and 'linguistic variants of tact' based on Verschueren' theory of adaptability,i.e.,his theory model 'selection-adaptability' is more convincing for the dynamic generation of this speech act.
