摘要
新世纪、新阶段我国的政治体制改革要着重加强制度建设,必须对权力制约机制进行改革。十六大提出建立"结构合理、配置科学、程序严密、制约有效的权力运行机制,从决策和执行等环节加强对权力的监督,保证把人民赋予的权力真正用来为人民谋利益。"这是建设社会主义政治文明的一项重大举措。本文从理论和实践的角度分析了当前我国监督机制存在的问题,分析了其原因,对监督机制改革进行了初探。
