Prevention of disease'theory is the direction of the future medical research and the highest state of medical development.The thought of 'prevention of disease' should be introduced to 'early collateral disease' and 'chronic collateral diseases' in order to fulfill the task of' preventing measure taken before the occurrence of disease' and' preventing measure taken after the occurrence of disease.It is stressed that prevention is more important than treatment and the combination of prevention and treatment.It is also significant to prevent and treat a variety of chronic intractable diseases with the pathogenesis change of collateral disease.
