摘要
叙述了我国煤炭资源的基本情况以及勘查工作的历史与现状。针对煤炭工业在我国国民经济发展中所占的特殊地位和煤炭资源勘查严重滞后于煤炭工业发展的局面，阐明了在社会主义市场经济条件下，依靠科学技术进步，推进煤田地质工作的必要性和重要性；对资源勘查体制改革和科技水平的发展方向提出了现实的思路。
Abstract The basic satuation of coal resources in our country and the history and the present condition of its exploration are described in this paper.According to the special position of coal industry in national ecnomy and the seriously backward satuation of the exploration to the development of coal industry,the paper elucidates the necessity and the importance for advancing the coal geological study depending on the progress of science and technology.The realistic thinking is praised for the organization system reform and the developing direction of science and technology on resources exploration.
