Physiological roles of Ca/CaM in the growth and development of fruits and vegetables, post-harvest storage, sterss-induced responses, and combined effects with phytohormones are reviewed in this paper. Researches in Ca-deficiency-related physiological disorders of fruits and vegetables are also summarized.
