较详尽地综述了１９９４年７月发生的苏梅克－列维彗星撞击木星的前因、全过程、激烈程度、初步观测成果及撞击的后果，以期有助于人们对彗星和木星本质的深入了解，对人类如何避免这类灾难性天象在地球上重演提供一些有益的启示．
The paper summarizes the entire process,violence and result of the striking Levy-Shoemekercomet to Jupiter.It is hoped that the paper will help people to understand the reality of the comet andJupiter deeply,and provides some helpful inspiration for human to avoid such disastrous astronomicalphenomena happening on the earth.
