摘要
本文对客户／服务器计算的特点和协同处理的特点进行了对比，指出了各自的优缺点．在此基础上，给出了适合客户／服务器计算或协同处理的几种环境，使信息系统管理者在确定他们企业的应用和硬件环境时，能选择一个更适合本身应用特点的技术．
In this paper, by comparing the characteristics of client/server computing with cooperative processing, their advantages and limitations are indicated and the environments that suit elient/server compoting or coopeative processing are given so that information system managers could select a better technique to best suit their needs when they identify their applications and hardware environments.
