摘要
文章系统地分析了市民在信息查找中选择某种信息源的原因和不选择其他信息源的原因、信息需求类型和信息源类型对选择原因的影响以及各类用户在选择信息源时的倾向,指出提高信息服务方便性是信息服务和信息机构存亡兴衰的关键。
Using data from a random survey of citizens'most recent information search experience, this article analyzes the reasons for them to choose or disregard information sources, the effects of need, source, and user characteristics on choice factors. Based on the data, the authors argue that the ease of use decides the future of library service, and utilization of information resources of the society provides libraries with new ability and new horizon.
