摘要
根据信息资源的特性,该文提出了信息产业的发展对信息资源的增值与减值的影响以及信息加工业和信息服务业在信息传递和利用中的重要作用。目前我国的信息采集、信息加工和信息服务工作主要由图书馆和信息机构完成,因此,图书馆和信息机构对信息资源的管理水平和服务方式将极大地影响到信息的利用和传播。
On the basis of the nature of information resource, the article discusses the growth of information industry and its influence on rising in value or devaluation of information resources. Considoring the importance of Chinese libraries and information centers in information processing and services, the management and policies in these institutes greatly affect the level of information utility and delivery. So the improvement of situation and operation of libraries and information centers in China have played a significant role in rising in value of information resources. The author puts forward some suggestions to the progress of information processing and information services in libraries and information centers where they can play an active role in information industry.
