KINETICS OF GRAFTING METHYL METHACRYLATE ONTO STARCH USING ACETYLACETONATE COPPER (Ⅱ )COMPLEX

摘要 考察以乙酰丙酮(Ⅱ)引发淀粉与甲基丙烯酸甲酯的接枝共聚反应中引发剂浓度、单体浓度、淀粉浓度对接枝率、接枝反应速率的影响,推导并验证该反应的表现动力学模型及反应机理,计算接枝反应、均聚反应和总聚合反应的表观活化能. This paper studies the graft copolymerization of methyl methacrylate onto starch with acetylacetonate copper (Ⅱ ) complex as initiator. The effects of initiator concentration,monomer concentration, and starch concentration on the percentage of grafting and grafting reaction rate have been examined. The rate equation has been derived and a suitable kinetic scheme has been proposed. For [Cu (acac)2]<7. 0 × 10-3mol/L, the reaction rat is expressed as Rg=kp (kd/ktl)1/2[AGU]1/2[Cu (acac)2]1/2 [M ], and for [Cu (acac)2]> 7. 0 × 10-3mol/L, it is Rg=kdkikp/kr2 [M]2. [AGU]/ki [M] +k0 [Cu (acac)2] The apparent activation energies of graft copolymerization, homopolymerization and total polymerization have been calculated from the Arrhenius plot.They are Eag=63. 29kJ/mol, and Eah = 119. 16kJ/mol,E.Pap=80. 48kJ/mol, respectively.
