摘要
本文报道中国蚋属（Ｓｉｍｕｌｉｕｍ）绳蚋亚属（Ｇｏｍｐｈｏｓｔｉｌｂｉａ）一新种─—重庆绳蚋，新种Ｓ．（Ｇ．）ｃｈｏｎｇｑｉｎｇｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．模式标本采自重庆四面山，保存于重庆市卫生防疫站。
This paper deals with a new species of Simulium from China. Type specimens aredeposited in the Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Station of Chongqing.Simulium (Gomphostilbia) Chongqingensis sp. nov.♂ :Body length about 2mm. Antenna with 11 segments,black-brown. Maxillary palpblackish,with 5 segments in proportion of 5 : 3 : 7 : 7 : 17. Mesonotum black-brown.Legs largely black or black-brown. Genitalia : Dorsal view of coxite and style (Fig. , 1 ).Ventral plate and median sclerite (Fig. ,2). Paramere large ,consisting of 2-3 long developedhooks and many small ones.♀ : Body length 2. 1-2. 4mm. Maxillary palp blackish,with 5 segments in proportion of5 : 3 t 8 : 8 : 19. Gonapophyses and genital fork(Fig. ,3). Paraproct and cercus (Fig. ,5 ) .Pupa : Body length (excluding gill filaments)about 2. 5mm. Gill organ on either side,with 10 filaments (Fig. , 10).Mature larvae : Body length 4. 3-4. 7mm, yellowish white. Head yellow. Antenna com-posed of 4 segments in proportion of 30 : 27 : 25 : 2. Each cephalic fan with 35-38 mainrays. Mandible with the usual 9 comb teeth. Hypostomum with a row of 9 apical teeth.Postgenal cleft that reaches the hypostomium. Ventral papillae present subconical. Larvalbody form and hairs (Fig. ,6). Posterior circlet with 85-89 rows of about 11-13 hookseach.Holotype♂, Allotype ♀ , collected from Chongqing (Mt. Simianshan) , 14 Aug. 1991.Paratypes 2 ♂♂ ,2♀♀ ,49 pupae and 221 larvae. Locality same as above,July-Nov. 1991.
