The high-velocity flow the outlet of ovethow spillway has a tremedous erosive and destructive effect on the energy dissipator and river bed because of its large unit discharge and centralized water flow. The aim of this hydraulic test is to search the type Of high effective dissipator, Which can be transfered kinetic energy of the high-velocity flow into potential energy and reduced erosha to the downstream of dam as well as minimized the damage and saved the project inveSt.Through Gompahag with various plans, the last proposed plan has a higher energy dissipation efficiency, under the condition of design flood frequency equalling to 2%,the energy dissipation efficiency can be increased 19% than those of thoriginal plan.
