摘要
由于巴拉斯钻头是剪切破岩，并且有高转速、低钻压的工作特性，笔者用它进行纠斜和防斜。经过川南地区的同福4井和梯4井的应用证明，使用巴拉斯钻头不但纠斜、防斜效果好，而且经济效益也很理想，对易斜井或易斜层实现快速优质钻井具有重大意义。
Rock failure mode during drilling using ballas bit is similar ro shearing with high RPM andlow WOB. The practices and experiences have proven that Ballas bit have good effects to prevent wellbore from deviation and to drop hole angle. In application of ballas bit at Tongfu No. 4 and Ti No. 4wells in South Sichuan provence,the economical benefits have been achieved during drilling in troublesome well and formations which are easy deviation.
