本文说明了华罗庚《苏家驹之代数的五次方程式解法不能成立之理由》的创作过程,指出该文并非某些文献所说的是华的第一篇数学论文.
This paper gives an account of the process in which Hua Loo-Keng wrote and published his essay On Incorrectness of Su Jiaju's Paper, and points out that it is not Hua's first mathematical paper as some of his biographers have wrongly asserted.
