摘要
针对DQDB城域网的结构,在理论上对其公平性进行了分析,并介绍了改善DQDBMAC协议公平性的2种方法:时隙重用(SlotReuse)和带宽平衡机制BWBM(BandwidthBalancingMechanism),最后给出了采用这种协议的结点站状态机模型,并运用M/G/1排队模型分析了时隙重用对网络性能的影响.
Recently,researches on Local Area Networks (LANs) and Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) have rapidly been advanced. This paper first analyses the fairness of basic DQDB MAC protocol after a brief introdUction of DQDB MAN architecture. Then it discusses two methods for improving the fair.ness of DQDB MAC protocol: slot reuse and bandwidth balancing mechanism (BWBM), a protocol state machine model is also given. Finally,this paper analyses the effect of slot reuse on the network performance using the M/G/1queueing model.
