This paper describes the protection of seedlings of Eichhornia crassipes, Pistia stratiotes, Azolle imbricata, Salvinia natans and Lemna minor in winter by storing them in water with plastic bags. Experimental results showed that Salvinia natans is an annual herb and Pista stratiotes needs higher temperature. So both cannot survive. The others can well survive to various degrees.
