摘要
高速信息网络是信息社会重要的基础设施。目前全球正在兴起建设国家信息基础设施的热潮。本文指出了当前这一趋势，分析了国家信息基础设施建设热潮的若干特征。本文还就信息业状况、通信业状况和技术状况讨论了我国建设信息基础设施的条件，介绍了我国在信息网络建设和国民经济信息化方面取得的重大进展。文章最后就建设我国国家信息基础设施中值得注意的问题，发表了自己的见解。
The high speed information network is an important infrastructure of information society,A new upsurge in the construction of National Information Infrastructure(NII ) is in the making.This paper points out this trend, analyses several characteristics of the upsurge in the construction of NII.Based on analysing the status quo of information industry, telecommunication industry and techn o-logy condition in China, this paper discusses the basic conditions for constructing NII in China, summarizes the great progresses in the construction of information networks and the informatization of national economy,Finally,the authors put forward their own suggestions for constructing National Inforrnation Infrastructure in China。
