摘要
介绍舆图描述元数据规范的设计过程,并专门数字对象描述元数据设计指南为指导,从舆图本身的特性出发,分析舆图之间的各种复杂关系,确定舆图描述元数据元素集及著录单位。最后列出舆图描述元数据元素集,同时对一些特性元素进行分析与说明,并列举著录实例,以说明各元素及修饰词的应用。
This paper mainly introduces the process of designing the ancient atlases. Under the guidance of designing descriptive metadata standards especially for digital objects, the paper analyzes various elements and complex relationship among the atlases for properly selecting the descriptive units. Finally, element sets are listed and peculiar elements for describing ancient atlases are illustrated. Then the application of the metadata and describing elements are described in this paper with examples.
