“Lily” as a masterpiece of Ru Zhi - juan is one of the rarely outstanding novels in recent seventeen years. As a kind of war subject novel, it does not publicize the war scenery and political topic involved, instead it tends to advocate a kind of humanized sincere emotion. Meanwhile, It avoids the inclination of dealing in generality of the similar subject matter works, and brings readers a kind of lasting fine spirit experience for its unique detail description.
