Vortex Flowmeter is one of the most important implements of flow measuring in modern chemical industry. The common failures such as mis-installation and some misunderstandings in the case of normal operation are discussed. The measuring principle of Vortex flowmeter is introduced and the causes are analyzed,which could affect the precision of flow measuring. The means,which could resolve vortex flowmeter＇s measuring precision, is expounded the Vortex flowmeters＂ directive suggestion about choosing, installation, management and maintenance are proposed.
