Overhead Reducing Method for Link State Based Routing Protocols in Ad Hoc Networks

摘要 为了降低网络的开销,提出了一种新的链路状态更新的开销控制方法,充分利用了媒体接入控制层具有广播发送特性的帧更新链路状态.理论研究和分析表明,新方法能够降低网络的控制分组数目,减小网络拥塞发生的概率,提高网络的吞吐量.仿真结果表明,新方法可以有效地降低更新开销. In order to reduce the overhead of networks, a new routing method, in which the nodes update the link states via using the frames transmitted by way of broadcasting in media access control layer, was proposed. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed method can reduce the amount of the control packets and the probability of the occurrence of congestion, and then it can increase the throughput of the network. Furthermore, simulation result proves that the new method will significantly reduce the overhead.
