Video Transmission Techniques over Wireless LAN

摘要 近年来无线局域网表现出极其乐观的应用前景,视频传输作为无线局域网应用的重要组成部分已成为其技术研究的焦点之一。本文对基于IEEE802.11无线局域网的典型视频传输技术进行了论述,并对其进一步的研究进行了展望。 Wireless LAN is witnessing the optimistic prospects of applications in recent years. Video transmission as the important application constituent of WLAN has become a focus of research. In this paper, the video transmission techniques over WLAN based IEEE 802. 11 are discussed and presented in detail. Finally, the future directions of research on video transmission over WLAN are forecasted.
