摘要
目的:探讨面孔识别表情效应以及方位效应所诱发的事件相关电位时空模式特点。方法:实验于2004-07/09在南方医科大学脑研究中心完成。以来自南方医科大学的36名自愿健康受试者为研究对象,无精神疾患以及精神病家族史,(矫正)视力正常。利用3张不同表情(正性、中性、负性)面孔简笔画图片,以正立和倒立的形式与下述汉字:“喜”、“思”、“恐”随机混合构成刺激序列,9类刺激随机顺序呈现共450次(50次/类),让被试者从事简笔画面孔表情识别任务,系统记录正误率。同时观察不同表情和不同方位图片所诱发的事件相关电位波形的时空分布。结果:36名受试者中因为脑电干扰太大被剔除4名,32名进入结果分析。①32名受试者的反应正确率为(92.32±4.79)%。②受试者显著交互效应出现于右侧枕顶颞区(340~390ms)。③显著表情效应分别出现于双侧顶枕区(120~180ms),右侧额顶区(160~180ms),顶区和广泛头皮(200~280ms)以及前额区(320~380ms)。④显著方位效应出现于额顶区(85~105ms)、顶区和广泛头皮(125~185ms)、双侧额顶区(225~265ms),左侧颞区、额顶区及前额区(305~345ms)。结论:表情效应可早期出现在双侧枕区及额顶区,提示皮质通路的作用可能并不一定滞后。方位效应可早期出现在额顶区及随后的广泛区域,提示方位效应可能影响面孔低水平的视觉特征加工。表情与方位因素的显著交互效应短暂出现于右侧枕顶颞区,仅与表情主效应在枕区重合,可能反映倒立面孔的表情信息需要额外的加工,其短暂和局限的交互效应从相反的角度表明面孔表情与方位的信息加工相对独立。以时空模式反映的面孔加工过程,提示其表情和方位效应设计了广泛的脑区,是一个动态演化过程。
AIM:To investigate the characteristics of spatiotemporal pattern of the event-related potentials evoked by the expression and orientation effects during facial recognition.METHODS:The experiment was carried out in the hrain research center of Southern Medical University between July and September 2004.Thirty-six healthy volunteers,who had without mental disease and mental family history,had normal(or corrected)eyesight,were selected from Southern Medical University.Simple drawing pictures of 3 facial expressions(positive,neutral and negative)were randomly mixed with the Chinese characters of“happy”,“thinking”and“fear”in the upright and inverted to constitute stimulatiun sequence;Nine kinds of stimulations appeared for 450 times(50 times/kind)randomly,and the testees took part in the task of facial expression recognition of the simple drawing pictures,and the right and error rates were recorded by the system.The spatiotemporal distribution of the wave of event related potential evoked by different expression and orientation was observed.RESULTS:Among the 36 cases,4 were deleted for electrical brain interference,and 32 were involved in the analysis of results.①The right rate of response in the 32 cases was(92,32+4.79)%.②The significant interactive effect was found in the right temporal-parietaloccipital areas(340 to 390 ms).③The significant facial expression effects occurred respectively in bilateral parietal-occipital area(120 to 180 ms)and right frontal-partial area(160 to 180 ms),parietal region and whole scalp(200 to 280 ms),and prefrontal areas(320 to 380ms).④The significant facial orientation effects occurred in frontalparietal region(85 to 105 ms),parietal region and whole scalp(125 to 185 ms),bilateral frontal-partial region(225 to 265 ms),left temporal,frontal-parietal and prefrontal ones(305 to 345 ms).CONCLUSION:Facial expression effect can occur in bilateral parietal-occipital area and frontal-partial area at early period,indicating that the action of cortical pathway may be not lagged.Facialorientation effect may earlier appear in frontal-partial area and the followed extensive regions,it is indicated that facial orientation effect may affect the low level visual characteristics processing of face.The significant interactive effects of expression and orientation factor stransiently occur in right temporal-parietal-occipital areas,and only overlapped with expression main effect in the occipital area,it may reflect that inverted faelal expression information requires extra processing,the transient and limited interactive effects manifest oppositely that the information processing of facial expression and orientation is relatively independent.Spatiotemporal pattern reflected facial processing indicates the facial expression and orientation effects design the extensive brain area,and it is a course of dynamicdevelopment.
