摘要
在1928年中央研究院成立之前,中国科学社是中国科学界最重要的代表,而江苏则是中国科学社的活动基地。江苏是中国科学社的人员汇集地、资金来源地和最主要的活动地区。江苏优越的经济实力和优良的教育氛围是中国科学社选择江苏的重要原因。
In the history of Chinese modern science, Chinese Science soinety was the most important representative of Chinese scientific circles before central Research Academy founded in 1928. Jiangsu is the most important activity centers of the Science Society of China： first, there are lots of scientific research personnel; secondly, Jiangsu provides a great deal of funds for it; third, Jiangsu offers places for scientific activity and research. The reason why the Science Society of China selects Jiangsu as its activity center is that Jiangsu has a favourable environment of technology and system.
