Gas phase axial dispersion coenicients in a bubble column slurry reactor(BCSR)have beenmeasured in the range of column diameter 10,20 cm;gas velocity 2~20 cm/s;solid concen-tration 5%~20%and particle size 53 μm,by measuring RTD of gas tracer H_2 and the methodof curve fitting in the time-domain.Acorrelation of E_g in the case of water as liquid medium ispresented as follows:E_g=18.68 U_gD ̄(1.44) (gas-liquid)E_g=104. 91 U_gD ̄(1.44)C_(gas-liquid-solid)From comparison of E_g got from paraffin liquid as liquid medium with that of water,it can befound that the effects of both U_gand c_gon E_g decrease significantly and a correlation equation ofE_g was not obtained.
