This paper analyses favourable factors in the further development of theDonghu lake in Wuhan city and studides the dynamics in the comprehensive exerciseof various functions of the lake. In accordance with the multiple-purpose optionalpolicy,it holds that Donghu lake has abundant tourism resources to be utilized,soit ought to function mainly as a scenic spot.
