摘要
研究了β剂量在瓷片中与深度变化的关系.这个关系是β剂量在瓷片中积累和衰减作用引起的.与瓷器热释光测定年代有关的是积累深度和积累饱和值.实验结果表明,在深度80μm处,积累饱和值为1.05.由此推算出厚度为100μm的瓷片因积累而增加的平均剂量为4%,当厚度为200μm时仅增加2%,当厚度为30μm时平均剂量减少2%.由此可见,用这样厚度瓷片测定年代积累作用可以忽略.
The variation of beta dose- rate with depth below the surface of a porcelain slice was investigated. The variation is due to the build- up and attenuation effectS of beta dose in the slice. It is shown that the saturation value of build-up is 1.05 at the depth of 80μ m, and therefore the average dose increment or reduction is only 2% for a thickness of 200 or 300μ m. Hence the build-up effect is negligible in the dating of porcelain slices with similar thickness.
