本文介绍了遥感技术自７０年代以来在国外的应用发展情况，特别是详细介绍了此项技术在我国水利水电建设应用中发挥了重要的作用，取得了显著的社会效益和经济效益。
Abstract:The paper introduces the application and development of remote sensing technique in foreign countries since 1970s. Details are gived about the important part it has played in water conservancy and hydropower construction of our country as well as its great social and economic benefit.
