ZnS: Mn Thin Film Electroluminescent Devices Using Antiferroelectric Ceramics as Insulating Layer

摘要 报道了一种直接用50Hz,220V市电驱动的ZnS:Mn薄膜电致发光器件(简称陶瓷灯),使用高介电常数,低损耗的反铁电陶瓷片作为器件的绝缘层,同时也作为器件的基片,它具有功耗低,亮度较高,呈薄片状固体化,性能稳定,寿命长,耐压高,使用安全可靠等优点,是新一代的节能型中等亮度的平面显示器件。在市电驱动下其亮度大于30cd/m2,功耗为10~15mW/cm2,寿命大于10000小时,可以作为指示灯、标识、弱照明和平面显示单元等,具有广泛的运用前景。 The novel EL devices which consist of a thin film light emitting layer and a antiferroelectric ceramic plate are proposed. The ceramic plate act not only as substrate of the device but also as an insulating layer. The EL characteristics are described for the device fabricated using a ZnS: Mn thin film as the light emitting layer. The luminance of the CSTFEL is access 30 cd/m2,and the luminous efficience is in the range of 0. 2~0.6 1m/W driven at V=220 V with frequency of 50 Hz,the lifetime is more than 10000 h. This newly CSTFEL device may be in use for indicated lamp,sign and plate dispay.
