In this paper, the designed paramenters for an acoustooptics beam deflector (AOBD) were given. with about 8W electrical output of AOBD driver, the device can diffract imcident light from ten to twenty percent over the wide band from 26MHz to 54MHz. If the electrical output inceased, the efficiency of diffraction would be higher.
