This paper presents two Euler solutions of 2-dimensional transonic turbine cascades using implicit finite difference (Beam-Warming) and explicit finite volume (Lax-Wendroff)algorithms, respectively, with numerical dissipation terms based on TVD concept. It is found that the two algorithms have excellent shock resolution in the cascade flow fields, and the numerical results show good agreement with the experimental data.
