总结了全国土壤腐蚀同站７个试验站１４种电缆、光缆及材料１—３年土壤腐蚀试验结果，比较了外护层材料的耐腐蚀性能．
The corrosion results of 14 kinds of cables, including conventionval cable and optical cable and some relevant materials buried in different soils for 1-3 years at 7 sites in China are summerized. The corrosion Performance of cable jacket materials was characterized. The main factors (oxygen, soluble salts and microbiology in soil) affecting corrosion of metal cable sheaths (lead, aluminium and painted steel strip) were also analysed.
