摘要
概述自１８９１年以来台湾的地震和地球物理研究的历史发展与当前状况，简要回顾自７０年代以来海峡两岸地震学和地球物理学学术交流的发展。指出，两岸地震和地球物理学界的交流和合作有着广阔的前景，应当而且能够对促进两岸关系的良性发展做出更多的贡献。
The historical developments since 1891 and the present status of the seismological and geophysical researches in Taiwan are outlined,and the academic exchange between both sides of the Taiwan Strait in seismology and geophysics since 1970's,briefly reviewed.It is pointed out that wide perspective exists in the academic exchange and cooperation between the seismologists and geophysists of the both sides of the Taiwan Strait and that more contributions to promote the further development between the both sides of the Taiwan Strait should be made by the seismologists and geophysists.
