摘要
介绍了一种采用伪DMA操作的新技术在STD总线上设计软盘适配器的方法,从而也解决了由于sTD总线不支持DMA操作而引出的难题;同时还给出了在8位STD总线上实现16位IDE接口的方案.解决了8位STD总线带大容量硬盘难的问题。
This paper describes a new way called, pseudo DMA operation to design floppy disk and hard disk adaptor on STD BUS. therefore it solves the outstanding problems resulting from that STD BUS does not support DMA opera-tion. At the same time, this paper raises a brandnew scheme to realize 16-bit IDE interface on 8-bit STD BUS. so that it solves the crital problem that 8-bit STD BUS can not support the large volume hard disks.
