摘要
系统地研究了粉红椋鸟在繁殖季节的迁徒、求偶、筑巢、产卵、孵化、育雏、食性和分布规律等生物学特性。结果表明该鸟在新疆境内为繁殖鸟,其分布区与蝗虫发生区密切相关,每年迁飞来的时间与当地蝗虫孵化期相一致,粉红椋鸟在繁殖期和育雏期均以蝗虫为食。喜集群营巢,巢多选在山坡乱石堆缝隙内,每平方米2~3巢,每窝产卵4~6枚,孵化期主要以蝗虫为食,日食量达120~180头/只。粉红椋鸟可在距巢区5~8km范围内捕食蝗虫,经捕食过地带,蝗虫密度可从每平方米30~40头下降至每平方米1头以下,控制效果异常明显。
The paper systematically studied the biological characteristics of migration、courtship、building nest、laying eggs、hatching、brooding、feeding habits and distribution regular pattern of Sturnus roseus in itsreproductive season。 The results showed that the bird is a reproductive bird,its distribution region is closelyrelated to the area of locusts occuring.The time of its migrating every year is in accordance with hatchingstage of Iocal locusts,and its food is locusts in reproductive and brooding period。It likes to build neststogether,and most of the nests are situated in cracks of stone piles in disorder at mountain slope.There aretwo to three nests per square metre。It lays four to six eggs once a time。It mainly eats locusts in hatchingtime。The numbers of eating reach 120 to 180 heads per day。 It can catch locusts in the distance of five toeight km from its nests。 The area of locusts catched,the density of locusts can decrease from thirty or fortyheads to one head per square metre。The effect of control was extremely significant。
