The cadmium release from yellow enamel glazes was measured by AAS. The amount of released cadmium increases with increasing contents of CaFe,Na_2SiF_6 and CdS, but decreases with increasing content of TiO_2.The effects of structure of coloured glaze on cadmium release were discussed.
