摘要
本文介绍了可视化技术提出的背景及其应用．在评述国外研究情况的同时，对国内的部分研究项目，如在卫星云图三维显示中的应用也作了介绍．
This paper reviews the research and developments of visualization technology and indicates some application areas eg. and Meteorological Satellite image 3D display in China.
