The Cretaceous Yangchong formation is both the source bed and ore-bearing bed for gold deposit in the area,which is composed of siltstone, mudstone and quartzose. The average gold content in strata between Sinian and Cretaceous systems is 8. 14×100-9 in which the Yangchong formation is the highest.The hydrothermal fluid contains much HCO3-and CO2 which can combined gold to form the complexes of Na [Au (CO3)] and Na [Au (CO3)2]. The gold was moved in such a way and precipitated when met with acidic fluid. With the movement of gold-bearing fluid,the surface of unconformity controls the fomation and occurrence of gold ore, There are many volcanic activities during the Cretaceous Period in the area which provides important carrier fluid and part of gold. The silication and Pyritization is associatied with the gold deposit. The orthogonal analysis shows the gold mineralization is colsely related to the epithermal fluid. The Paper also puts forward the perspective area for future gold exploration.
