以铁盐为原料,改变溶液组成或加入晶体生长调节剂,在100~200℃水热条件下,制备出五种不同形貌的α-Fe2O3细微粒子.通过密闭静态和动态两种水解过程,考察了不同原料、反应物浓度和搅拌对α-Fe2O3粒子形貌和大小的影响.
α-Fe2O3 (hematite) particles with cubic, spherical, platelet, spindle and aci cular shape were prepared by hydrolysis of ferric solution at elevated temperatures (100 or180℃) under different hydrothermal conditions. The particles obtained in an enclosed vesselunder stagnant conditions were rather uniform in size and with well-defined shape, but thehydrolysis process needed longer periods of time, normally more than 24h. Increasing the production rate of hematite particles was possible by raising the reactan concentration only in alimited range. When continuous agitation was applied to the same system, the hydrolysis timewas shortened by a factor of 10, but α-Fe2O3 particles kept their original shape and the sizebecame smaller. Different raw materials, Fe(NO3)3, Fe2(SO4)3, or FeCl3, showed no obviouseffect on the shape and size of the platelet particles.
