介绍了当今信息时代里与之密切相关的理论──熵．分析了不同学科中熵的概念，熵与信息的关系和功能等，并把熵论用于生命、社会、市场和决策中，深入浅出地分析了信息革命将引起的经济世界的变化．
The theory of entropy that is interrelated closely with information in present era is introduced. The concepts and functions of entropy as well as the gelations between entropy and information in different subjects are analyzed. The theory of entropy is employed in life,soliety,market and decision. The change of economy by information tevolution is also analyzed.
