Ada has been chosen as the uniform military real-time and concurrent programming language by the U.S Department of Defense. It is suited to write not only applied softwares, but system softwares as well. The operating system is the stem of system softwares. What's the prospect for Ada's application in operating systems? The paper relates to the implementation of operating systems using Ada, in an attempt to answer the question of general concern.
