摘要
《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》是19世纪美国现实主义作家马克·吐温的代表作。它生动地描述了主人公哈克与逃跑黑奴吉姆在密西西比河上的流浪经历,深刻揭露了美国这个所谓文明世界的残暴,寄托了哈克乃至整个美国民众对理想世界的向往。本文深入分析了哈克的个人道德观不断发展和成熟以追求精神自我的心理历程。
“The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”is the most important works of Mark Twain,the prominent realist writer in American and world literature.It vividly depicts the adventurous life of Huck and the runaway Negro slave Jim and reveals profoundly the cruelty of the so-called American civilization and thus shows Huck’s earnest yearning for the ideal spiritual world.This paper elaborates and analyses the mental process of Huck’s moral development to pursue the spiritual freedom.
